Mastering Your Morning

Do you ever feel like you don't have enough time for the things you really want to do? I lived like this for years until I finally established a morning routine! Since I started taking control of my day and getting up just a little bit earlier, I have been more productive and less stressed. So, how do you create a morning routine that works? In today's episode, we'll talk about not only what should be in your routine but also how to actually start implementing it!

I like to get up early because as a mom of 5, my house gets loud during the day. The morning has become my time where I can focus on what I need to do without interruption. Starting my day with prayer and Bible reading guarantees that I make time for the things that matter most to me and align my will with God’s will before I start my day.

If you want to start a morning routine, start by just getting up 15 minutes earlier, set your Bible and planner out the night before, and then stick to it! As you continue to get up, you will build momentum and start seeing yourself feeling less tired and more productive.

Q: What keeps you from getting up in the morning? Make a plan to eliminate that obstacle and commit to starting a morning routine tomorrow!

Pray this: Father God, I know that your will is for me to prosper in every area. I know that I need to do my part. Help me to take control of my time. Show me what I should be doing first thing in the morning and help me grow in the self-discipline necessary to get it done! Make our time together refreshing and something I am excited to get to wake up and do every morning. In Jesus’ name, amen!
