Do you ever wonder if God hears you when you pray? Are you even praying right? These are thoughts the enemy would love for you to think about your prayer life. If he can get you to stop praying, he can take you out of a place of power as a believer!

Have you ever said something and then instantly regretted it? Unfortunately, there is no way to take back those words. The old quip: sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me isn’t exactly true. The words we speak can hurt us, as well as others.

What is the definition of faith? I looked it up and these are the two definitions: 1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something 2. strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

Have you ever felt as if what you do is insignificant? There can be moments in the daily grind where you stop to think, does what I do really matter? The answer is, yes it matters. There is no such thing as an insignificant person or an insignificant purpose. If you have life, you have purpose and that purpose matters.

We are in full-swing Easter tradition mode. I am a stickler for fitting all of our favorite traditions into the holiday! Even though my kids are getting older, they still love our traditions! One of my personal favorites is making Resurrection Bread. Easter is a beautiful reminder of our heart encounter with the One who is the Resurrection and the Life.

Happy Spring everyone! We made it through another winter, and warmer weather is on the horizon. This is one of my favorite times of year—the birds are singing, the sun is out, and everywhere you look, there are signs of new life.

How can you cultivate peace? Can you cultivate peace? In the craziness of the world in which we live, this is a question we need to answer. In Galatians 5:22, the Bible tells us that peace is a fruit of the Spirit, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

In His loving kindness, God gives us prophetic words at times, for a dream and a vision for us to put our hope and trust in when we can’t see how it will all come to pass. He gives us a glimpse of assurance to guide our future. This prophetic word is a gift.

Change the way you think and you’ll change your life. What if it was that simple? Well, it is. Proverbs 23:7 reminds us, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” The way we think about ourselves sets the narrative for everything else.
