What Grace Sees

What does God see when He looks at you? Does He see all of your shortcomings and failures?

When God looks at you, He looks at you through the eyes of grace. He sees you through the image of His Son. The Lord sees you in light of your full potential, not failures and shortcomings! In Exodus 3, God asks Moses to deliver His children out of Egypt. Of all people for God to use, Moses had just committed murder! Moses goes through a long list of reasons why God could not, and should not use him.  Finally, God  had heard enough excuses and responds, "I AM that I AM". He was reminding Moses this wasn't about his ability, but about the ability of the God he served.

The grace of God on your life calls forth God's abundant plan for you. He sees past the lists of reasons you give Him for not being good enough, into the creation He has made. It is in your inadequacy that you will see God's all- sufficiency at work! 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, " My grace is sufficient for you, my power is made perfect in your weakness".

Grace calls forth the good and equips us to turn away from the bad! Not only does grace call out your divine potential, but it enables you to live life free from things that would hold you back, or sins that entangles ( or trip you up). Romans 6:14 " Sin is no longer your master, you no longer live under the law, but in the freedom of grace".

Grace provides a freedom from being mastered by sin. Sin breaks God's heart. He sees you in the fullness of His purpose and He understands the price that was paid for grace, through His Son. When we sin, He knows we are settling for so much less! Whatever your situation is, whether you need forgiveness, or you just feel dismissed due to your past--His grace is  sufficient. Maybe your trapped in a cycle where you sin, ask for forgiveness, and then sin again--the blood of Jesus cleanses you from unrighteousness and empowers you to overcome sin! You don't have to keep starting over at square one! You can live in freedom!

Grace sees you from the perspective of the Creator, He knows you better than you know yourself. God sees how amazing your potential is, and He is your biggest advocate to see it come to pass! Don't settle for using grace like a bandage for remaining in sin, but allow the grace of God to transform you into the person God sees!

You will go from being trapped in cycles of  frustration and disappointment, to soaring into your divine destiny! Grace sees beyond, trust in and embrace what God sees and speaks over you today!
