Miracle Mindset

As Christians, we must fight against what we see to stay connected to our faith. Learning how to cultivate a miracle mindset will help you stand firm in your faith, regardless of what is happening around you. Today we'll be talking about the faith of the man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5 and three things you can do to see the impossible happen!

  1. Take control of your thoughts.

What you think about you will bring about! That’s why it is so important to take every thought captive and determine whether or not it lines up with the Word of God.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. - Romans 12:2

If the enemy can mess with your thoughts, he can keep you from having the faith to see your miracle come to pass.

  2. Look at God, not your circumstances.

People get stuck believing that God’s Word isn’t possible because they’re trying to understand it with their natural minds. Don’t let your circumstances determine your faith! The man at the pool of Bethesda felt like there was no way God could do a miracle for him because he couldn’t get in the pool. Luckily for him, God had already planned another way!

  3. Choose wholeness.

Too many people don’t receive their miracle because it would require them to accept their new identity. God didn’t create you for pity or weakness. He made you to be whole! But wholeness is a choice you have to make, and it all starts in your mind. That’s why Jesus often asked people if they wanted to be well.

Pray this: Father God, thank you for loving me and giving me the power to see miracles in my life. Help me to see my situation through your eyes; through eyes of faith. Show me your will and help me to master my thoughts so that I can see every promise you have for my life come to pass, in Jesus’ name, amen!
