The Secret to Growth and Success

What if I told you there was a secret to growth and success?

Whether you are seeking spiritual growth, growth in your skill or job—there is a hidden secret that not too many people are willing to find! That secret is consistency! Consistency through practice is a key that can change your spiritual life! Whatever you feel like your God-given assignment on earth is, stay consistent at it.

There is an aspect of not quitting when you feel tired, discouraged, or even insignificant that takes you places that others are not willing to go! Leadership coach, Ed Mylett, refers to this place as the Gap—the gap between the good and the great. This gap occurs and widens when you are willing to be disciplined and steadfast when everyone else quits or has seasons of inconsistency. Whatever God has placed on our hearts, keep moving forward. Some steps will seem like great strides, and other will feel like baby steps—but keep going forward! 

Stay consistent in prayer and the Word!

If you slowly compromise your Bible and prayer time, you will loose focus! It may be slowly, but you will loose the faith and power you need to keep moving forward when you feel like you're hitting a wall. Especially in these summer months- make time for what’s important even if it’s simply meditating on a specific scripture! Change up your routine- maybe you are outside more, so go on a prayer walk, or read your Bible on the porch or by the pool!

God's Word will continue to build your faith and provide wisdom and strategy. Holy Spirit will reveal to you through the Word divine strategies on seeing breakthrough where things may seem at a stand still.

Stay consistent in obedience!

Obedience is a reflection of your faith! Remain obedient to the instruction God has given you-- even when you feel like you're not seeing the results you hoped for. Your ability to remain consistent will weed out those who have a desire to do great things for God and those who will actually do great things for God. Consistent obedience to God always yields breakthrough. Continue to follow the instruction God gives you through His Word and prayer even if it doesn't make sense to you. What He tells you to do may seem insignificant and even foolish, but if He spoke it, He will see it through! Your obedience to God should never be determined by what you feel like is happening in the natural; His instruction is the key to get you where you need to be-consistently obey! 

Stay consistent in your work ethic!

Nothing is a substitute for hard work! Whatever God has called you to, He wants you to be the best at it--not mediocre or average. Being the best at what you do glorifies God! The mistake most people make is  quitting when they meet resistance or get tired; the Spirit of God has equipped you to have supernatural strength to keep working everyone else quits! Consistently work hard, and God will see it that you rise to the top!

Keep on going--no matter what is in front of you! Consistency to what God has spoken to you--on how to live, how to prosper, divine instruction--will always faithfully produce breakthrough!

Simply not quitting will get you further in life this year than you ever could go in your own strength and wisdom! Keep pressing forward all year long and you will stand out among the crowd! 

Keep going and don’t stop! If God has put a desire in your heart, it is for a reason! Stay focused, and you will grow, get breakthrough, and see God fulfill every desire!
