Full Face Holiday Glam

The holiday season is my favorite time to play with different makeup looks! Whether you have a holiday party to attend or want to get extra glam at home, it’s time to bring out your makeup goodies and try something new!

  1. Start with a clean, moisturized face. You may need to start incorporating a heavier more hydrating moisturizer for the colder months. https://bit.ly/3wlcl6D

  2. Prep for foundation using a primer that works with your skin type I.E if you are dry using a hydrating primer, if you are oily use a mattifying primer, if you need to target pores and lines use a putty. On my model, I used a combo of a dewy, hydrating primer and then a pore filling primer in the T zone. https://bit.ly/3o0oWZm https://bit.ly/3nVjIhv

    1. **Tip** for added longevity spray your primer with a setting spray. I use a fan to speed up the drying time and I also feel it helps blend the layers together. https://bit.ly/3k9dsBI

  3. Apply foundation using a damp beauty sponge, this will help blend the layers. The foundation I’m using on the model is one of my favorite full coverage foundations that wears long and works great on all skin types. https://bit.ly/2ZSJ5rM

  4. Apply a concealer that is 2 shades lighter than foundation in the inner and outer corner under the eye. Apply the outer edge in an upward motion back toward the temples to help lift the face.  A little goes a long way, too much concealer will begin to look cakey. Here is my personal favorite full coverage concealer https://bit.ly/2YmyMfm

  5. Use Beauty Sponge to blend concealer and foundation together. *Optional spray your foundation and concealer with more setting spray and fan dry* https://bit.ly/3GTVAVd

  6. Apply translucent powder under the eyes to set concealer. If you are oily you can apply powder all over the face to set in place. https://bit.ly/3BQGBHz

  7. Apply Bronzer to cheekbones starting from the top of the ears moving the brush toward the mouth but not surpassing the pupil. Also apply along jawline, temples/hairline and using a smaller brush contour the sides of the nose. https://bit.ly/3q8Gq8n  Brush: https://bit.ly/31oEtdF

  8. Apply Highlighter on the tops of cheekbones, under the eyebrow, inner corner of the eye and at the tip of the nose for a subtle glow https://bit.ly/3wy8nrH Brush:https://bit.ly/3mQWkCx

  9. Apply blush to the apples of cheeks and sweep back toward temples https://bit.ly/2YotbVQ Brush: https://bit.ly/2ZS8B0m

  10. Use a colored gel over the brows, if you need more shape you can use a brow pencil or brow pomade https://bit.ly/3GP0dzP

  11. Prep the eyelids for eyeshadow by applying an eye shadow primer, I just used the Tarte concealer I used earlier. Then I set that in place with a light skin-colored shadow to avoid creasing.

  12. I start the eyeshadow look with a matte warm brown in the crease with a fluffy crease brush. Using a smaller definer brush I apply the same color on the lower lash line.  All the shadows I used are from the Morphe Madison Beer Palette https://bit.ly/307ruN8 Brush: https://bit.ly/3bNgy9H

  13. Then all over the lid I add a warm burgundy shade. I also apply under the bottom lashes Brushes:  https://bit.ly/3k9C3Gt

  14. Brighten up the inner corner by adding your highlight shade to the inner corner. Be sure to add some on the lower lash line as well. I use a small brush but you can also just use your pinky finger!

  15. *Optional* Add some glitter on the lid for some extra fun! I just put the liquid glitter on the back of my hand then used my finger to tap it on the lid. https://bit.ly/3GSRTil

  16. *Optional* Depending on your eye shape you can add some black liner on the top lash line for a little more drama. https://bit.ly/3GRrSAd

  17. Apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes https://bit.ly/3mNRd5W Don't forget to curl them!

  18. *Optional* Add false lashes https://bit.ly/2YjqbtG Glue: https://bit.ly/3nYSjLD

  19. Finish off the look with a glossy lip! Try a brown nude or more of a maroon as shown on the model. https://bit.ly/3qgLw2J I topped it off with a clean gloss:https://bit.ly/3D4V1pj

  20. Lastly, take a clean fluffy face brush and do a final sweep before setting with your favorite setting spray! https://bit.ly/3qjAnxM

I know this seems like a lot of steps, and it may be compared to the 5 steps on a day to day, but I promise it’s not hard! Practice makes perfect! Take a little extra time to pamper yourself this Christmas by getting all dolled up! You deserve it!
