Here For It

You’ve got this! Do you ever just need someone to affirm the fact that you can do whatever it is that you’re up against? I know it is nice to have that affirmation, however it is not always there in the moment I need it. Sometimes, I need to dig deep past my feelings and give myself a Holy Spirit pep talk! The Bible talks about the word of God rightly dividing between soul and spirit. 

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts, and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

In the moment when you feel like you can’t do whatever it is that you’re up against— remember you can do it! God in you causes you to triumph! There is nothing that is too hard for God! Anything that would speak defeat or discouragement in your situation, you’re anointed by God to overcome! No matter how “hard” things seem, you’re anointed to see breakthrough! 

God has given you access to supernatural wisdom as a child of God. His wisdom gives you the ability to be a problem solver, to figure out things that seem like they are stuck or not budging. In the book of Daniel, the Bible says that Daniel had the supernatural ability to solve hard riddles. In the original context this would be like having the ability to undo a really hard knot or solve a really difficult puzzle. It is the wisdom and insight of God to breakthrough and solve problems that seem impossible. You have the spirit of God in you that gives you wisdom and access to the mind of Christ!

“And it shall come to pass that in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing." Isaiah 10:27

God has given you authority break yokes! Yokes represent anything that would hold you back or slow you down!“

The power of God in you allows you to break free fromsins and cycles that have been overshadowing your life- maybe even for generations. With God, you can break out of old patterns not only for you but for generations to come! When you operate in your God given authority and identity, it is like deciding that enough is enough. Whatever I have been carrying, or my family has been carrying, it stops with me! The anointing in you breaks yoke. You can see change in your circumstances because of Jesus!

God has given you supernatural courage and boldness because of Jesus! God in you causes you to let go of fear and narratives that would try to tell you that you can’t or that would try to hold you back. In Esther 4, Esther was struggling with the question of if she could stand up for her people and do something that was really hard. Esther’s cousin Mordecai encouraged her that she could do it, and that she had a divine purpose that she needed to walk in! If you feel stretched today, if you feel inadequate, or even afraid, lean into Holy Spirit. He will make you strong and courageous to walk forward in every plan, purpose, and destiny He has for your life. 

So, when people, life, or even your own voice tells you that you can’t, respond back “I can and I’m here for it!” You are anointed by God to overcome, break through, and to thrive in this life!
